FanDuel, in partnership with Evolution, have launched their very first branded live dealer studios in Michigan and Pennsylvania.
This means all of the live dealer games in both those states will now be live streamed directly from the studios, with FanDuel claiming it will offer players ‘exclusive promotions and live updates with dynamic stats’.
After the news in February that Evolution would be the sole provider of FanDuel’s live dealer section across the US, this shows the operator is evidently making the very most of their relationship with the giants of live casino.
“Classic casino games will now be available online with an exciting FanDuel branded live dealer element giving FanDuel Casino players in Michigan and Pennsylvania an interactive casino experience from their home,” FanDuel Group said in a statement following the news.
FanDuel Group now has online casino offerings in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan and West Virginia, while also operating the Stardust brand in New Jersey and Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut.
FanDuel players in Michigan and Pennsylvania who are well acquainted with live dealer games will be especially pleased with this announcement, with the launch most importantly helping expand the operator’s live casino offerings. It's already well known that you will find some of the best slots at FanDuel, but their live casino section was lacking until this news was revealed.
They intend to target an audience bigger than just their regular players though, as they try to encourage novice live dealer players to try out FanDuel before any other gaming site.
“A dedicated live dealer studio offers FanDuel the ability to offer players exclusive promotions, and with the addition of live updates with dynamic stats, the FanDuel Live Dealer Games will be attractive to both experienced and novice players,” the operator said.
“Playing FanDuel Live Dealer Games is a great opportunity to learn the game in a more controlled environment, and for the experienced player, the game offers a less crowded and more relaxed gaming experience.”
FanDuel Aiming to Topple BetMGM in iGaming
FanDuel have been taking steps to improve and grow their online casino to try and match their sportsbook, and their decision to improve their live casino only reiterates their intentions.
As it stands, FanDuel has a way to go to leapfrog US market leader when it comes to online casinos, BetMGM, who currently have a 29% market share.
As part of their plans to recruit more customers and become the “destination of choice” for US igaming players, they recently appointed an award-winning ad agency Mischief @ No Fixed Address, with the first campaign as part of the new partnership expected some time this year.
Mischief @ No Fixed Address, has been put in charge of all advertising and creative roles, including social media for the operator. It's a bold strategy to team up with the ad agency who produce rather divisive advertising and sport the mantra of “what would you do if you weren’t afraid?”, but it is one FanDuel is hoping pays off.
“This offers the casino platform enormous growth potential and more importantly gives Mischief fertile ground to create new and exciting ways to attract customers and unlock cross-sell opportunities into other areas of the business,” FanDuel said at the time of the news they would be partnering with Mischief.
